Jackie Baker is one of the most successful equestrian bloggers on the Internet. Her blog Regarding Horses is enjoyed by thousands of horse lovers worldwide. She has figured out the ins and outs of successful blogging and will share those tips with us.
Jakie Baker is a horsewoman. She was in the saddle before I could even walk, and she just can’t get away. Jackie has years of experience showing in the hunter ring, teaching lessons and camps for kids and adults, taking care of horses, working with therapeutic riding programs, and living, loving, and breathing horses.
After a life-time of leasing and riding other people’s project horses, Jackie recently became a horse owner for the first time. Ace is a 9-year-old thoroughbred gelding, never raced, registered as Ace Brown. Alydar is his grandfather on his sire’s side, and he also has Bold Ruler and Native Dancer in his lineage. He hadn’t had much done with him previously, but is coming along nicely as get started under saddle. He’s very willing, lively, friendly, and social – and sometimes a little too smart. You can read about their journey together on Ace’s blog.
Jackie works as an internet marketer by day to support her horse habit and still spends a little time with my nose buried in good books, knitting, or playing her French horn.
Her blog is Regarding Horses and is dedicated to researching and analyzing the most current equestrian industry news, events, and issues and sharing horse experiences and knowledge. With particular emphasis on sport horses, hunters, jumpers, dressage, and eventing, she also covers thoroughbred racing, therapeutic riding, and other disciplines from time to time. Regarding Horses is written from a perspective of horsemanship, passion, respect, and years of experience in riding, showing, teaching, horse care, and volunteering.
