    I have not listened to the episode yet but wanted to share this with you.
    A while back, I was working with a horse that had been terribly abused, to the point that her mouth was scared.
    I moved her to the stable that my horse was at and she was now in a stall. When her stall was opened to let her out, she would turn her butt to you. After careful observation, i determined she was not turning her butt to you but turning her head away (probably out of fear, too).
    It took just s short time of assuring her she was safe and she started nickering when her food arrived and looked forward to people coming to get her. Love can do wonders!
