Five Who Could Upset the Hot Favorite at the Grand National 2019

Grand National Betting 2019: Still Some Puzzles to Solve

The Aintree Grand National (April 6th) is always a tough race to call. Indeed, winners with odds of 100/1 have been seen in recent times.

An Alternative to the Favourites in Cheltenham’s Feature Races

An Alternative to the Favourites in Cheltenham’s Feature Races

Lots of punters will undoubtedly recall Annie Power’s famous fall in the Mares’ Hurdle at 2015 Cheltenham. The short-priced favourite seemed to be guaranteed a victory – a fourth for trainer Willie Mullins on the day – when disaster struck; the mare tumbled at the last, crashing through the fence, with Ruby Walsh lucky not to be seriously hurt. Estimates vary, but it is suggested that the fall saved bookmakers £50 million. Punters around the UK would have regretfully torn up betting slips containing the four-timer of Douvan, Un De Sceaux, Faugheen and Annie Power.
